Brushing and Flossing

By brushing and flossing, you eliminate food particles that accumulate on and around your teeth. Bacteria will accumulate, harden into plaque, and eventually cause tooth decay and bone loss below the gum line.

Some tips for maintaining your oral health are:

  • Brush twice daily with fluoridated toothpaste, ideally after each meal.
  • Floss at least once a day.
  • Limit snacking in between meals and minimize the amount of processed sugars you consume.

Regular Office Visits

Through frequent visits, Dr. Yurovsky can diagnose any problems early on, monitor any areas that may be decaying, and remove plaque buildup. She will also examine your gums and other tissues in your mouth.

Each person has individual concerns and needs. During your dental cleaning, you have the opportunity to discuss these matters with Dr. Yurovsky.
